Since heading out as a solo artist after a music hiatus, Celine has hit the ground running, and there is no sign of slowing down! With 20 years of songwriting tucked into her belt, she’s been around a block or two, and down enough roads to have a few stories to tell.
Songs like ‘Without Me’ and ‘Fallen Angel’ show us just how deeply Celine see’s the world, and she conveys this with such honesty and grit. ‘Drive On Through’ and “Getaway Car’ really bring home that catchy, singable chorus that defines any road trip playlist.

“It beens 10 years, but I really feel like taking a break from writing and producing music has been a blessing” Ellis shares about why she sees herself as an experienced yet still emerging independent artist.
Influenced by her parents record collections, which included Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and so many more, Celine has fused this with her love of 90’s country music and her passion for the acoustic guitar.

During 2020, Celine spent her time in lockdown productively in her home studio, self producing two EP’s ‘Paper Aeroplanes’ and ‘Breathing Space’ plus singles ‘Drive On Through’ and ‘Too Late’. All superbly received, this really was just the spark of a bigger fire in 2021, which now see’s her working with sibling producers Matt and Tom Bishop at Inspire Music Studio.
“Fallen Angel’ was the first new release to come from this collaboration, and has cemented Celine’s position in the UK Country and Americana scene with a No. 6 iTunes chart peak, international radio play and BBC Introducing support. She swiftly followed this with the heartbreaking ‘Without Me’, a retrospective look at the final moments of a break up. ‘Without Me’ became the single release from her 2022 EP release ‘Unravelled’. A collection of songs about the complexities of relationships, from the very first spark to the final closing of the door.

Celine is now taking her stories on the road, and has been performing at intimate venues including a headline show back in her home town in North Wales. Not one to shy away from a big stage, festivals such as MCN Motorcycle festival, Ilfracombe Country Festival, Northampton Music Festival and Great Barn Festival were treated to the full ‘Acoustic Music with Attitude’ experience in 2021. More big shows are planned for 2022, which include an amazing slot at the British Country Music Festival and an intimate headline show in London!
A powerhouse on stage, Celine delivers more than your average singer with an acoustic guitar, imparting a full range of emotions within her songs and performances. One to look out for in 2022 for sure!
